Release information

This card was released as a Wizards Black Star Promo through the Pokémon League in July 2001. In Japan, it was one of two Unnumbered Promotional cards given away to patrons of the Japanese theatrical screening of Spell of the Unown: Entei, released on July 8, 2000.

Trivia

The text on the bottom of the Japanese print's border reads: "Pikachu the Movie 2000 attendance present card."
