Trivia
- Get Inspired! Let's Solve a Poké Riddle!!: Diglett
- This episode marks the first time a main character has given away a newly caught Pokémon since Ash gave his newly caught Beedrill to Casey in The Bug Stops Here, 976 episodes earlier.
- This episode marks the first appearance of a Drilbur in the anime since its cameo in Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, over four years earlier.
- Although it is stated in this episode that soil burrowed through by Dugtrio is ideal for planting and growing crops, in the games, Diglett is the one stated to have this attribute by the Pokédex.
- The English dub title is a reference to the song How Ya Gonna Keep 'em Down on the Farm (After They've Seen Paree)?.
- Professor Cerise, Goh, Ash, Goh's Rotom Phone, and Pikachu narrate the preview for the next episode.
Errors
- When Goh is showing his Rotom Phone to Endo to explain Dugtrio, it displays the picture of a Diglett instead.
