Bluto (Japanese: ブルータス Blutus) is a character of the day who appeared in Mad About Blue!. Bluto has a fascination for Pokémon with a blue color. He is from the Kalos region.
Bluto first appeared in an art gallery which showed pictures of many blue-colored Pokémon. Whilst there, Bluto encountered Gorman, who was showing Ash, Goh, and Chloe around and also had a fascination for blue-colored Pokémon which started a rivalry between them. Bluto met them again in a café which had a theme of blue-colored food. Whilst arguing, Bluto received an alert of a Frogadier/Vanillite plushie available at the Poké Mart and went to get it, only to get into a fight with Gorman which ended with it being torn apart.
To settle this, Bluto and Gorman blindfolded themselves and sent out two of their Pokémon to see if they can identify each other's Pokémon. Team Rocket interrupted this by capturing Pikachu, Grookey, and Eevee but Gorman saved them by having his Dewott break the net with its Scalchop. When Team Rocket requested the Rocket Prize Master, Gorman and Bluto ended up scaring Pelipper away. Bluto received another notification on his phone and ran away with Gorman.
