Glameow (Japanese: ニャルマー Nyarmar) is a Normal-type Pokémon.

Biology

Physiology

Glameow is a grey cat, with a curled, spring-shaped tail similar to Spoink and a white fluff at the tip of it. It has a crescent shaped head with two white-tipped ears. It also has a small black nose, yellow eyes with blue irises, and white paws.

Habitat

Glameow tend to appear in urban environments, probably because they have a domesticated quality. It is also possible to see them in the forest.

Origin

Glameow is based off of a cat.

Name origin

Glameow's name is possibly from glamorous and meow. Its Japanese name, Nyarmar, comes from the word nyā, the Japanese equivalent of meow, the sound that a cat makes. Its German name, Charmian, comes from Charme and miauen. Its French name, Chaglam, comes from chat and glamour.
