African elephants
I just wondering if this Pokemon is based on an African elephant too. I do know that Indian elephants lived in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. I do know that Britain has a history on colonizing Africa. TwistedMeow (talk) 02:00, 11 December 2019 (UTC)
- Honestly I was thinking it was a reference to Raichu's and Gastly's Pokedex entries which references Indian Elephants. Like, maybe Copperajah was the intended in-universe reference for those entries? -- Nick15 (talk) 14:57, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
- I'm positive that is has nothing to do with African Elephants for several reasons: 1) The ears are far too small to be an African Elephant, which have far larger ears then Asian Elephants. 2) Rajah is an title for monarchy exclusive to the Indian subcontinent, there's no such thing as an African Rajah and 3) African elephants were never tamed and used in the same way as Asian Elephants were in Asia. Its giganmax
I think we should put that its gigantamax form is possibly inspired on skyscrapers
- Eh, I don't really see the connection. Copperajah bears little to no resemblance to skyscrapers as lacks any of their distinctive features outside of being tall, which isn't notable considering all Gigantamax Pokémon are tall.-SpinyShell (talk) 02:54, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
Pokedex, design and moves, all suggest it is based on something that demolishes and evens the ground. I guess Elephants were used in such work.--Rocket Grunt 16:38, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
