Toxic Debris (Japanese: どくげしょう Scattered Poison) is an Ability introduced in Generation IX. It is the signature ability of Glimmet and Glimmora
Effect
In battle
This Ability effect may be in need of research. Reason: Does Toxic Debris activate when hit by any attack, moves that make contact, or all physical moves? You can discuss this on the talk page. |
When a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a physical attack, Toxic Spikes are set on the target's side of the field. If an attack would cause more than 2 layers of Toxic Spikes to be set, the ability does not activate.
If a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a multi-strike move that makes contact (such as Fury Swipes), each hit will activate this Ability.
