So and Sae

(Japanese: So) and (Japanese: Sae) are two characters of the day who appeared in JNS05.

So and Sae met Ash and Pikachu when they stumbled across their house after being chased by a group of Beedrill. So and Sae gave Ash some food before he went on his way. So and Sae met Ash again after he followed Haruto back to their house. They recognized the blue hat Ash had retrieved from a group of Mankey as belonging to their son Haruto who had died. Later, they said goodbye to Ash and watched him leave, unaware that Haruto had appeared between them.
