Nintendo Zone logo

Nintendo Zone was a service available at Nintendo World Store and other locations for the Nintendo DSi and the Nintendo 3DS. It was an advanced version of the DS Download Station.

This service originally featured downloads of Demos, Videos & Game Data for various Nintendo games while also acting as a internet hotspot for the consoles.

Pokémon

On February 6, 2012, an entire new section was added to the Nintendo Zone homepage, exclusively for Pokémon news and information. The Pokémon section includes four subsections: News & Events, Pokémon Video Games, Pokémon Trading Card Game, and Pokémon TV.

News & Events gives a general overview of upcoming major events in the Pokémon franchise, such as a new TCG set, a new game, events, etc.

Pokémon Video Games

Pokémon Video Games focuses solely on the video games, and gives more in-depth summaries of the games, as well as screenshots and videos.

Pokémon Trading Card Game

Pokémon Trading Card Game gives news exclusively based around the Pokémon Trading Card Game and gives advice on which cards are best from a new set and how to use them in a deck.

Pokémon TV

Pokémon TV allows the player to watch episodes of the Pokémon anime on their 3DS.
