Editing comments and preview button

Hi there! Just wanted to remind you that editing comments is against the talk page policy. It's "ok" to fix minor mistakes that you can't live with, but please only do so sparingly as to avoid edit conflicts with those who may be attempting to respond, and to preserve the conversation accurately with the correct time stamps (and so people can easily follow the discussion and know exactly what was said and when). I also suggest using the preview button so that you can make sure you've said everything you want to say before saving changes. If you find that you still forgot something after you've already saved, new information can instead be added in the form of a new comment with its own signature and time stamp. Hope this helps! By the way, please keep in mind that removing comments is also against the talk page policy. Thank you! Landfish7 05:28, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
Tone down the condescension, buddy. --Poliwhirl (talk) 17:48, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
Not my intention but I apologize that that's how it came across. Just trying to be helpful! Landfish7 17:52, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
