Release information
This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, a special illustration rare card, and a gold etched hyper rare card in the Paldea Evolved expansion, first released in the Japanese Snow Hazard expansion. The Regular, Full Art, and hyper rare prints feature artwork by aky CG Works, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by kodama. An SVP Black Star Promo version of the card with artwork by aky CG Works was included in the Chien-Pao ex Battle Deck, released on July 14, 2023. The SVP Black Star Promotional print was released in Japan as part of the Shiny Treasure ex subset.
In France, an oversized version of this card featuring the Paldea Evolved expansion logo was given out at retailers to promote the release of the set.
