Quotes
- Start of turn:
- When asleep:
- "You're still sleeping?"
- With low health or a status ailment:
- "Urgh, this doesn't look good..."
- When victory is near:
- "Right, let's put this one to bed!"
- Otherwise:
- "Let's go."
- Start of battle:
- When attacking a castle:
- "I'm not over the hill just yet."
- When defending a castle:
- "Well, better take 'em on, I guess."
- During battle:
- "This battle ain't over yet, <Pokémon's name>! I'm just getting started!"
- When ordering to attack:
- "<Move's name>! Do it!"
- When ordering to go to battle:
- To a kingdom:
- "There'll be no holding back. I'll give this everything I've got!"
- To a wild Pokémon location:
- "C'mon, let's go."
- Upon forming a link:
- "<Pokémon's name> and I are linked. No misbehaving now, okay!"
- When using an item:
- "Here you go! <Item>!"
- When using his Warrior Skill:
- "I'll show you how this is done."
- After winning a battle:
- If he attacked a castle:
- "Time for you to give up... We've won!"
- If he defended a castle:
- "What a waste of my time! Don't bother coming back again!"
- When defeated:
- If recruitable:
- "Not bad. I reckon you've got potential..."
- If defeated by something other than the enemy:
- "Argh! We've been tricked..."
- Otherwise:
- "Argh! I can't be doing this anymore..."
- When being recruited:
- "All right. Treat me well, though."
- At the start of That Which He Holds Dear:
- "Hmph! I've always been just as powerful as Shingen and Kenshin..."
- "But I've always been happy just to protect my kingdom of Cragspur..."
- "I've never cared about other kingdoms."
- "That's what I've always said, anyway..."
- "But I can't let them get away with just trampling all over Ransei!"
- "If they insist on collecting kingdoms, then I shall collect Warriors!"
- "With more allies on my side, they wouldn't dare attack us!"
- "Heh. I'll show them what it really means to defend a kingdom."
- At the end of That Which He Holds Dear:
- "Forty Warriors... Not bad."
- "That should keep them quiet."
- "Did you come here just to say that?"
- "If you've got that much time on your hands, why don't you join my army?"
- At the end of Simply the Best:
- "You never learn."
- "You'll never make anything of yourself. Not with that attitude. You think that capturing seven castles is the end? Come on. It's just the beginning. The time for proving yourself starts now."
