Release information

In Japan, this card was distributed to customers who pre-ordered a physical copy of Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet at participating stores upon its release on November 18, 2022. The English SVP Promotional print was available in the English Paldea Evolved Elite Trainer Box, released on June 9, 2023. A second version with the Pokémon Center logo above the Retreat Cost was available in the Paldea Evolved Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box.

In Indonesia, this card was released as a participation prize for attending New Expansion Championships held between April 7–30, 2023, using decks constructed with either cards from Scarlet ex and Violet ex packs, or pre-made ex Starter Sets decks.

Origin

Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly are the three first partner Pokémon for the Paldea region in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
