This card was released in the HeartGold & SoulSilver expansion with artwork by Sumiyoshi Kizuki, originating from the Japanese HeartGold Collection. It was reprinted in the Call of Legends expansion with new artwork by the same artist.

Origin
Psyshock's Japanese name is that of Confusion, a move in the Pokémon games that Slowking can learn. Both the HeartGold & SoulSilver print and the Call of Legends print have a King's Rock in the illustration. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon HeartGold.
