Trivia
- The entire book is in purple and white, so the stickers are the only color in the book.
- Some of the white text on page 1 is on a nearly white background, making it hard to read.
- Most of the Pokémon facts are either excerpts from the Pokédex or describing events that happened in the anime.
- On page 12, it states that 'the coming of Celebi means the world is in luck'.
- On page 35, it says that Ash became one of the best Pokémon Trainers in the world because he saw a Ho-Oh when he was just starting out as a Trainer.
- On page 39, it claims the Kirlia is one of the strongest Psychic-type Pokémon.
- On page 67, the Pokémon fact refers to Regirock, Regice, Registeel, and Regigigas collectively as 'the Regis family'.
- Phione's entry on page 60 does not have it listed as Legendary.
- This may be an error, as several Legendary Pokémon are not labeled as such.
Errors
- Cresselia, Giratina, and Heatran on pages 17, 29, and 33, respectively, are not labeled as Legendary Pokémon.
- Throughout the book, some Pokémon with whole number weights have their weight end with '.0', while others do not.
- On page 2, it states that there are 490 Pokémon in the book when there are actually 491 (and a total of 497 entries due to some Pokémon having multiple entries due to having multiple forms).
- On page 4, Ampharos and Anorith's weights are switched, showing Ampharos as 27.6 pounds and Anorith as 135.6 pounds.
- On page 8, Blastoise is listed as 88.5 pounds instead of its actual weight of 188.5 pounds.
- On page 14, Chimecho's weight is listed as 22.0 pounds instead of its actual weight of 2.2 pounds.
- On page 21, Drowzee's height is formatted as 3'3" instead of 3'03".
- On page 58, Omanyte's entry has the same issue. It's height is formatted as 1'4" instead of 1'04".
- On page 23, the Pokémon fact should say Ash's Pikachu instead of Ash's Pokémon.
- On page 45, Luxray is given Butterfree's height and weight of 3'07" and 70.5 pounds. Luxray's actual height and weight are 4'07" and 92.6 pounds.
- On page 49, Mareep is given Marill's height and weight of 1'04" and 18.7 pounds, but Mareep's height and weight is actually 2'00" and 17.2 pounds.
- On page 56, the outlines for the Nidoran♀ and Nidoran♂ stickers are swapped.
- On page 81, Surskit is given Swablu's height and weight of 1'04" and 2.6 pounds. Surskit's height and weight should be 1'08" and 3.7 pounds.
- On page 93, Wooper's weight is incorrectly listed as 83.8 pounds instead of its actual weight of 18.7 pounds.
