Release information

This card was included in the Paldea Evolved expansion with artwork by OKACHEKE, first released in the Japanese Clay Burst expansion. It was later reprinted in the Japanese Lightning Miraidon ex Start Deck and as a Confetti Holofoil in the McDonald's Collection 2023 outside Asia. In Japan, it was reprinted again as an SV-P Promotional card as part of a collaboration with the NAKANO STYLING TANTO line of hair products. Eight specially-branded NAKANO STYLING TANTO × Pokémon Card Game hair products were released on August 1, 2023; each purchase included a Promo Card Pack that contained one of eight possible pairs of Pokémon and Basic Energy cards featuring the "NAKANO STYLING TANTO" logo. Pikachu cards were always paired with Basic Lightning Energy cards.[1] A Mirage Holofoil version of this card, featuring a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork, was available in Trick or Trade 2023 BOOster Bundles from September 1, 2023.

This card was reprinted, alongside a new print with artwork by Yuu Nishida featuring the Shiny version of Pikachu, in the Paldean Fates expansion, first released in the Japanese Shiny Treasure ex subset.

A Full Art illustration rare-style print featuring artwork by saino misaki was available as a SVP Black Star Promotional card in the Paldea Adventure Chest from March 1, 2024. In Japan, this print was one of six SV-P Promotional cards that could be found in Pokémon Card Summer Is Here! Promo Card Get Campaign! Promo Card Packs. Starting August 8, 2024, Pokémon Center Online customers would have three Promo Card Packs added to their basket for every eligible booster box purchased in a transaction. From August 10, 2024, customers would receive a Promo Card Pack for every ten eligible booster packs purchased in a transaction at physical stores. Participating locations included Pokémon Centers, Pokémon Stores, Pokémon Card Gyms, and temporary Pokémon Center Branches at Matsumoto PARCO and Amu Plaza Oita. Eligible products included all Scarlet & Violet Era expansions and subsets from Scarlet ex/Violet ex through to Stellar Miracle. The campaign ran for as long as stocks lasted.[2] A Cosmos Holofoil version of the Paldean Fates Regular print, featuring a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork, was available in Trick or Trade 2024 BOOster Bundles from August 30, 2024.
