Release information

This card was released alongside Hoothoot in February 2010 in the HeartGold & SoulSilver Two Pack Blister. In Japan, it was released as one of the L-P Promotional cards and was awarded to participants of the Knockout Battle event, held as part of the Pokémon Battle Challenge, who won at least 1 battle. The Pokémon Battle Challenge took place at several locations across Japan between October and December 2009.

Hypnoblast is an attack that first appeared on Rocket's Mewtwo from Gym Challenge. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon HeartGold.
