Here's the Drayster take: The Academy Special's the best thing on the menu. It's all so soft, you can basically just gulp it down. Barely even need to chew."

"So listen—your Pokémon are pretty strong, yeah? With a team like that, you've got a shot at becoming the BB League Champion. Wouldn't that be wild? An exchange student just rolling up here and snatching the crown? I wanna see you join the BB League, <player>. You in?"

"Nothing special. Just thought we could grab a bite. Where better to do that than the cafeteria?"

"I'll take that as a no. So I can't swing a lunch date with you, even if I've got your ol' pal with me?"

"You didn't hear that he/she was coming to study abroad here?"

"We're already tight, us two. In fact, I was just asking <player> to join the BB League!"

"Aw, c'mon. Do you all hate fun and friendship or something? You wanna exclude some who's taking our same classes and living in our same dorms? How's he/she not one of us?! And isn't this place supposed to be all about students having autonomy? I think we should vote on it. I'm a yes, obviously. How 'bout you, Lacey?"

"Two against two, huh. All right, then! What says the reigning BB League Champion, our mighty Kieran?"

"Heh. Guess we've got our answer."

"Sorry, <player>... Guess you'll be joining the BB League, huh? Well, let's look on the bright side! Maybe you and Kieran'll come out of this better friends! Don't worry, I'll be right behind you. Every step of the way. But now that the decision's been made, we better get you officially signed up. Meet me at the reception desk in the school's entrance area!"

If spoken to: "There you are! This is where we can get you signed up for the BB League.

"Oh, don't mind that! We Elite Four talked it over real quick. My friend here's good to join."

"Didn't expect you to ride up in shining armor and save the day."

• Before Kieran’s Champion Battle

"Here’s the Drayster take: I liked Kieran better when he had his hair down. He used to be this quiet little guy. Trembled like a leaf. Had all the spine of a Wimpod. He’d hide behind Carmine if you so much as breathed too loud. But I’ll tell you what… When it came to Pokemon battling, I never saw so much joy in anyone’s eyes as in his! But then, outta nowhere, he changed. Now he’s relentless-pushes himself, pushes everyone around him… Nothing good’s gonna come out of this. Someone’s gotta snap him out of it."

League Club Room

• First visit

"Yo, Champ. Gotta thank you again for conquering the BB League."

"All the tension here melted right away once we got our new Champion!"

"If I had my Drayster druthers, Kieran and I’d be having fun battling again..."

"I thought we’d have patched things up by now, but I guess things ain’t that simple."

It’ll work out! / Just give it time!: "You know just what to say, huh? Good quality in a reigning Champion!"

"Guess I ended up kinda using you to try and get what I wanted, huh, bud?"

"Sorry about that. I didn’t mean to. I dropped the slacker life for once, and I just got carried away."

"Anyway, hope you’ll accept my apology. No attitude, just gratitude."

• Second visit

"Yo, <player>! How goes the busy life of the League Club president? Nose to the grindstone?"

“President”?! / Wait—me?!: "Hang on, you didn’t know? Yeah, the BB League Champ doubles as president. So that’s officially you now. Them’s the breaks!"

I didn’t know! / No one told me!: "My bad! Yeah, that’s the deal!"

"Don’t worry about it, though! We all got your back."

"Even when I was on top of the game, I made it a point to not call myself Champion."

"That way the Elite Four of us could just trade off club prez duties...and I wouldn’t have to do ’em all myself!"

"Anyway, I’ll take responsibility if anything gets hairy, so don’t worry. Dive in and prez it up, prez!"

"Yo yo, bud. Got an update regarding the “you being League Club president” thing. And I quote:"

Yes: "That’s what I like to hear. I’m putting up Duraludon, obviously! What’ll you trade me?"

After selecting a Pokémon: "So you’re down to trade your <Pokémon> for my Duraludon, bud?"

No: "Aw, c’mon...don’t be like that! We gotta work together here!"

If talked to again: "Oooh, you feeling that team spirit now? Let’s trade it up, then!"

If player only has one Pokémon in their party: "Hang on, bud. You’ve only got one Pokémon with you. You gotta bring more, or we can’t trade."

After the trade: "<Pokémon>’s a great choice. That’s a Champion’s Pokémon for sure! Don’t worry. I may slack on a lot of stuff, but I’ll take good care of your <Pokémon>."

• Rematch

"Hey, bud. You up for a battle?"

No: "Fair enough! You can't go giving 100 percent all the time. Gotta know when to hit the breaks."

Yes: "Nice. Let's stroll on over to the battle court, then."

If player only has one Pokémon in their party: "Uh, hang on, bud! We’re going for a Double Battle. Better bring at least one more Pokémon!"

Upon sending his last Pokémon: "That one stung real good, bud! The way it oughta in sting in an all-out battle!"

Upon Terastallizing his Archaludon: "Now watch this dragon's blood boil! Show 'em who's in control!"

Upon having his Terastallized Archaludon use Draco Meteor: "Can't have that blood all boiled up for nothin'. Get ready for an onslaught-this won't be pretty!"

Upon being defeated: "Heh heh. That's the way, bud."

• After first rematch

"Man, facing off against you is ridiculous. So much fun!"

"I’ve got something for you, bud. A little token of my everlasting gratitude."

"Here—don’t mind the dust! I really oughta clean my closet."

Player obtains Tracksuit (Black / Gold): "Now we can be twinsies! Heh heh."

If defeated by the player: "There you go again getting even better. Guess I should've expected that, huh, bud?"

Player obtains a reward

"Y'know, I think I've come to rely on our battles as a way to de-stress!"

If defeated the player: "Heh heh! Don't mind me, just scooping up a W over here. I get it if you're upset, but don't go full Kieran on me, OK?"

• Talking to after rematch

"I'm really not made for learning in classrooms. I've gotten held back...three times I think? But I get to savor the sweet school life longer than everyone else. It's a pretty good deal."

"Man, I love chairs. Don't you love chairs? What lifesavers. I don't get why everyone doesn't just sit all the time. Standing up's tiring work!"

"You probably think this is a skirt I've got on, huh? Heh heh! Not quite! I just tied my cape around my waist."
