Phoebe
Phoebe (Japanese: フヨウ Fuyou, German: Antonia, French: Spectra, Italian: Ester, Spanish: Fatima), the second member of Hoenn's Elite Four, focuses on Ghost-type Pokémon.
Her name means "bright one", but was problably chosen because it's similar to "phobia" or to "phantom". Her German name comes from "phantom"("ghost"). Her French name is similar to "spectre"("ghost"). As regards her Italian name, it could derive from "spettro"("spectre"), "esoterico"("esoteric"), "strega"(witch) or "esper"("extra sensorial perception"). Her Spanish name is very similar to "fantasma"("phantom").
In the Games
Phoebe is the second of the Elite Four. Her strategy is to confuse and confound with Pokémon she considers undefinable.
Most of her five Pokémon are pure Ghosts, with the exception of Sableye. She apparently has a grandmother at Mt. Pyre, but it is not known if the grandmother works there or is visiting there, but she hopes she's doing well.
