Torchic(Japanese: アチャモ Achamo, German: Flemmli, French: Poussifeu, Korean: ???) is a Fire-type Pokémon, listed in the National Pokédex as #255. Along with Treecko and Mudkip, it is one of three starter Pokémon you can choose from at the beginning of Pokémon Ruby, Pokémon Sapphire, and Pokémon Emerald.

Torchic comes with the Ability Blaze, which increases the power of Fire-type attacks by 50% once the Pokémon has less than one-third of its maximum HP.

Torchic evolves into Combusken starting at Level , then into Blaziken starting at Level .
