Spinda (Japanese: パッチール Patcheel) is a Normal-type Pokémon. Spinda's spots have over 4 billion possible combinations, and are determined by its personality value.

Pokédex entries

Pokémon Ruby
All the Spinda that exist in the world are said to have utterly unique spot patterns. The shaky, tottering steps of this Pokémon give it the appearance of dancing.
Pokémon Emerald
It is distinguished by a pattern of spots that is always different. Its unsteady, tottering walk has the effect of fouling its foe's aim.

Name origin

Spinda's name is a combination of spin and panda, referring to its fur patterns. Its Japanese name is based on patch, also referring to its appearance.

Spinda appears to be based on a red panda.
