Bulbapedia:Golden Bulbasaur Award

The Golden Bulbasaur Award is an award given away once monthly by the editorial board to a user which they determine to be a model user of Bulbapedia.

Golden Bulbasaur Awards are not given only to the user who has made the most contributions; editorial board members award these based on several attributes, including:

• Knowledge of Pokémon information
• Cleanliness of edits
• Ability to improve Bulbapedia's poorest pages.

Types of award

There are several different sub-awards to the Golden Bulbasaur, for different categories of service:

• Golden Bulbasaur Award - Best overall service to Bulbapedia.
  • Silver Bulbasaur Award - Second best overall service.
  • Bronze Bulbasaur Award - Third best overall service.
• Golden Pikachu Award - Best service to Bulbapedia in regards to articles based on the Pokémon anime.
• Golden Charizard Award - Best service to Bulbapedia in regards to articles based on the Pokémon Trading Card Game.
• Golden Mew Award - Best service to Bulbapedia in regards to articles based on the Pokémon games.
• Golden Poliwhirl Award - Best service to Bulbapedia in regards to articles based on the various Pokémon manga.
• Golden Mudkip Award - Best new item of trivia added.

There is also another, secret award, which is slightly less prestigious than the others:

• Golden Slowpoke Award - Worst new page.

Recipients of these awards are entitled to a userbox which makes note their achievement. Users who use these userboxes without having been selected to receive the award will not be tolerated.
