I actually don't have a special message this time... ah crap, this counts as one, though. TTEchidna

*sigh*

If you cant change my name just go ahead and delete my account.LD400

It's not that I can't, it's just that you've done nothing to deserve it. You've made no mainspace contribs; all have been either on my talk page or on your user page. Heck, your total contribs don't even break 20! TTEchidna 19:52, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Well still can you delete my account?LD400
There's no "delete this account" option, dude. Either way, a wiki's for expanding information, not talking, which you seem to have done a lot of on that Bionicle wiki... That's what forums are for, man! TTEchidna 21:50, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Of course, there's always the SerebiiForums way, logging out and never coming back. Problem is, they always come back... Cipher (Talk) 21:53, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Exactly. TTEchidna 21:55, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah,well I wont.LD400
If you insist. TTEchidna 06:23, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Mr.lol

has broken the userspace edit limit for the day, and has already received his |2 warning. The Dark Fiddler - Smarter than the average bear! 22:09, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, like a month ago. If it was just yesterday I'd worry. TTEchidna 22:25, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
And yes I realize that Kogs warned him again for his August one in November... If it's that far back, I don't think it's too bad. TTEchidna 22:31, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Dude

Wat the Hell are you doing? Although I assume you have better reasons, Banning people because "Over quota for New users" Or "Hate your favorite pokemon" is almost as stupid as when you made those two people admins with NO contributions. What are you smoking? I want someDCM((曲奇饼妖怪Spy on My Edits))
It's probably none of my business, but having already met the monthly quota for new members and not liking one's favorite Pokémon are very bad reasons to block new members who haven't done so much as one edit yet. And infinitely too! I'm not one to point fingers of accusation, but perhaps I see an abuse of power going on here? Or is there some reason for these seemingly random and unreasonable blocks that I'm not seeing? - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 02:32, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
They are sockpuppets.--Coolピカチュウ! 02:34, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Those users were Ritchie sockpuppets. MaverickNate 02:34, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
All of them? In one go? They didnt even contribute. Oh well, doesnt matter. I get the white cookie monster though. Mocking my race.DCM((曲奇饼妖怪Spy on My Edits))
As for the admins who made no contribs, they're behind-the-scenes people for Bulbagarden as a whole, and they gave themselves power, which Poli took away, freaking out as if we'd been hacked. We then cleared stuff up with Archaic and he said they were cool. TTEchidna 02:36, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
I get the privacy policy one, but the one with no contributions? seems like a waste of time to me, but if you say so.......DCM((曲奇饼妖怪Spy on My Edits))
I have no idea either. They actually had power though, before Poli killed it. TTEchidna 02:42, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

(Resetting indent)You could have just said so in the block log. The favorite Pokémon bit was pretty funny, I must admit :) LordArceus 14:21, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Animated sprites?

This page says that using the {{ani}} template results in animated sprites of Pokémon. However, for quite some time, this is resulting in still sprites. For example, {{ani|009}} results in : 009. Can you help?--Diby 13:00, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

This happens to all people without animated png supported browsers. No good saying "Use Firefox".. I do, and they still don't animate! Gywall(Talk) 13:58, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Firefox 3 and up show anipngs. It's not like the animation adds much anyway; the aniMSes are so rarely used since they cause your browser slowdown if there's a lot of them, just like animated gifs. Ever notice how some of Serebii's pages are a pain to load? TTEchidna 17:33, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Questions

How does someone earn the Golden Bulbasaur. Would I be eligible?--KukiTalk 18:56, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Total winnings

the comment about no need total winnings, we can add, i only added that because it was on Route 3's box, so I thought it needed to be in it. No need to be snappy. - unsigned comment from Littlmiget123 (talkcontribs)

It was on Route 3's? Odd... Huh. Well, either way, try not to take the edit summaries too harshly. They do have a character limit... which coincidentally causes them to have a niceness limit. TTEchidna 22:23, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Hidden Power and STAB

I don't get. Some of the Pokémon have it bolded, some have it italicimized, and some just have it there, without any cheesy font effects. Which is it spozed to be?--The Kkllnnator カメックス 22:29, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Shouldn't be STAB for anyone. Hidden Power's STABbyness is based on the Pokémon's personality value. TTEchidna 22:31, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

About the Poké-Power...

Should I add that, too? -パルキアJosh 22:54, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

On Venusaur ex? Eh... I think it'd be best to someday get a list of all Pokémon Powers, Poké-Powers, and Poké-Bodies. TTEchidna 23:10, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Just like the moves not in the Pokémon games....both would be long though... ht14 00:13, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Eh, perhaps. TTEchidna 02:17, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
That'd mean TFG too then...are we going to divide it like what was done for Nintendo Power? ht14 04:28, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
How do you mean? TTEchidna 04:58, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Not sure how the entirety would work, but Nintendo Power had it changed into generation. There may be multiple subpages (possibly each section is one set of cards?), however, it would be better than a REALLY LONG page....just an idea though... ht14 05:01, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Yikes. I'll let someone more knowledgeable about the TCG deal with this... TTEchidna 05:04, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Such as? Tc26? ht14 05:08, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Nate? Deth? TTEchidna 05:14, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Ok then. Thanks! ht14 05:17, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
I think that this would be easier once we get all the jname and jtrans finished. Sometimes, the English translate the same powers as different things in English, and I'd rather wait for when we have more time to focus on things when we get current tasks finished. I'd also ask Cipher for his opinion. Mine is, I don't really want to do this yet. MaverickNate 11:57, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Okay then. We'll wait until a good time to. TTEchidna 19:21, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Castform GenIV

How comes the GenIV Castform spritebox isn't updated like the GenIII one is?- unsigned comment from MisterE13 (talkcontribs)

Eh? It is, we just don't have the sprites. TTEchidna 01:28, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
I figure that people won't know to upload them. We now seem to be showcasing our lack of transparent sprites.--MisterE13 02:08, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Well, people know to make redlinked pages... so there ya go. And showcasing the lack of transparent sprites is just what we need to do to get them transparentified. TTEchidna 02:16, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Therefore showcasing non-existant images is just what we need to do to get them created.--MisterE13 03:29, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Exactly. Though it would help if someone could rip the Gen IV sprites! I know that Castform doesn't use the same Gen III ones, which are what's in the evochart. TTEchidna 03:34, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
So unless we show the uncomplete GenIV spritebox with all the non-existant sprites, nobody will know to upload them.--MisterE13 00:28, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
But... they are all there. It's just that no one's uploaded any of them yet. TTEchidna 02:21, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

(un-indent)The point is that people won't necessarily know to get the sprites and upload them unless they see in the table that we don't have them.--MisterE13 03:36, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

But the links are there! TTEchidna 04:14, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
That's more like it. Did you just change it or am I crazy?--MisterE13 21:34, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Maybe you missed it, maybe your cache wasn't cleared. TTEchidna 21:39, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Probably something like that, looks good. I guess it was already fine before I commented. So, it already looked the way I wanted it to. Who knew?--MisterE13 21:41, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

Season 11/12

So Season 12 is suppose to begin with DP105, but since PUSA has yet to confirm that, are we still going to add post DP104 events to the Battle Dimension pages? --HoennMaster 07:25, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Yes we are, BD hasn't finished yet, Once PUSA confirms a new season, then we change it. --Force Fire talk 07:27, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Exactly. TTEchidna 07:43, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

2 things

1. Its not letting me talk to you on Aim, is there a fault, or am I ignored, if I am ignored can you please tell me why and maybe for how long?

2. Please can you give me permision to delete the offensive comment Optimatum made about me on his user page.

He keeps on insulting me. Please, he constanlty makes these little digs at me. I asked if we could remove it and he siad he couldnt be bothered. Please, I know im not a frequent contributor and i do a lot of talking, but please dont allow him to keep making these nasty snidey comments. I really wanna help BP, so when he says stuff like change for the worst guy, it hurts. Also this is subjective, what I find offensive you might not, where do we set the line, I asked him nicely, I was very civil with it, I just asked to please have my name removed from a list, and he said he couldnt be bothered.

Please, it upsets me when people are making comments about me, and I cant even get rid of them, its bullying, it may not be 1 big insult like MOTHER FUCKER, but we learnt bullying psychology in school 2 weeks ago, and the bully breaks his attacks into smaller bits to go un noticed by authority, and thats what hes doing, cos he makes loads of these nasty comments to me, but others consider them small. But they build up, and it hurts inside.

Im not asking for heads to roll, or for him to be banned, I just would like permision to remove the comment, or have it removed by someone else, and for the staff to pay a bit more attention to what he does to me. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

But your on his list for a good thing. Please can i have permision to edit it out. And can you answer my question about Aim please? If i am banned, can you tell me why and if ill be allowed back. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Good thing? Maybe. But you gotta accept his honest criticism. You know, sort of like several other people need to... but I won't get into that one again. TTEchidna 19:40, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Can we move this conversation to aim. I still need to talk to you but am conscious of talk space edits. Please can we talk it on Aim, as its quicker and doesnt take up edits. I promise i wont take up too much of your time. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

And his "critisim" upsets me. Please can I remove it. And can you answer the aim question, or can we move this talk onto aim to reduce talk space edits.

Whoop-dee-doo. This is Western values at work. Get used to it, lest it be forced upon you. TTEchidna 19:50, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Well im not a westerner, why do we live under western rule on here. Its the internet, im asking, please, let me remove that horrible comment.

AND CAN YOU NOT SEE MY POINT ABOUT AIM. YOU ARE TRYING TO FORCE MY TALK PAGE COUNT UP BY IGNORING ME FROM AIM --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Dude, you're British. You came from America. At least, if what you're telling me is correct. "Western" rules are the rules of, you know, everything west of the Ural mountains, more or less. AKA the United States and all other former European colonies. Ever heard of John Locke, Thomas Jefferson, John Calvin, and Thomas Hobbes (there were a lot of guys with those names then)? Freedom of speech includes the right to criticize, otherwise you have no freedom of speech. You're so much for "patriotic" values, dude, welcome criticism. TTEchidna 20:00, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

K, if you let me delete that comment, I promise not to be patriotic anymore, i like USA, but if they allow insults, i wont mention it.

Can you please tell me the answer to my question about Aim. Each time you forget to type an answer. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

How can you promote democracy, Guardian, yet still want to censor other people's comments and opinions? Relax. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 20:28, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Optimus has every right to call you "the dork who screws things up by changing them just because". Yes, I like change. I voted for Obama because we need it rather than the trickle-down system we've had in place since Reagan got in. Yes, even with Bill Clinton. But most times changing things that work just fine just because is a bad idea.
And yes, the United States and the rest of the free world allows him to call you Change-For-The-Worst-Guy. I'm allowed to call Sarah Palin an unqualified, overly religious idiot who doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the Office of the President of the United States. I'm allowed to say everything I want, except in cases of endangerment (yelling "Fire!" in a crowded theater), libel (if I were to write "Microsoft includes spyware in their products", for example), and slander ([1], for example). Usually, though, those things are only levied against people in high places who have the power to convince a lot of people, like news reporters and CEOs. And not if they're used as an example. I know the PS3 gets a little warm, but I've never heard of them exploding. It's why I love to be an American!
As for when the United States started allowing for that? 1787. In reality, it was pretty much a given since 1776, and even earlier, under British rule, but it was finally put down on paper that people are allowed to speak their mind on anything they so please, even if they're speaking about someone who doesn't wanna hear it. If you don't wanna use this system, though, I suggest moving to an already theocratic country... try Iran, though Ahmadinejad's not every popular with the people, and I foresee them deciding to get rid of their current system in favor of something better soon without us needing to help.
And I'd love to sit here and teach modern world history to ya, but you know, that's what history classes are for. Plus, hey, Wikipedia's got some use. Look up some of this crap there. Ya might learn something.
And with that I say, Happy Statehood, Illinois! TTEchidna 20:34, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

ok, i get the point, your not going to do anything.

Now can you answer my first point, is there something wrong with aim, or have you blocked me, if you have, can you please just tell me why and how long for? Thats all i ask --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Not doing anything because I love democracy!
Sure. Just go on Wikipedia and read about some history. TTEchidna 20:44, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

So, if I read some history youll unblock me form Aim?? --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Guardian supports Democracy, but does not support a woman's right to choose... Hum... --ケンジガール 21:07, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Kinda hard to support democracy when you don't know where it came from... TTEchidna 21:13, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Kenji, i think youll find I dont support murder, which you seem to be supporting. TTE, I learnt some history on wiki, will you talk to me now. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Antibiotics are murder, too. TTEchidna 21:48, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Let's not start this whole discussion again, eh. Not on the wiki, at least. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 23:07, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
Ah, political fever. May I point out that the democracy that Guardian is trying to create is a Direct Democracy, compared to the improvised OLigarchy that we have on the 'Pedia, which is not a bad thing, and usually works. BTW, Edit Count is a true show of power. All of these things that you are fighting for are null points, because they dont exist because all your really doing is pointing out other users flaws with it, and the Editorial Board doesnt give a Damn about the nominations.. Now get this talk off BulbaPedia, before i break out the big wrods.DCM((曲奇饼妖怪Spy on My Edits))

Your Pyschos

Just to let you know, Umbreon is based on a jackel. The reason is because there was an ancient Egyptian god of death that was a man with a jackel head. GuyNamedSean 23:11, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Jackal, and that's what Lucario's for. TTEchidna 23:15, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Request from SharKing

I was wondering how to get the code for that calendar thing on your page. I could use one. Is there a way to have it without the "Pokémon of the Day?" I already have "SharKing's Pokémon of the Week." --SharKing ((Talk to the King!)) 12:48, 4 December 2008 (UTC)

The calendar code? The one on the right? That's easy, just edit the section. PotD, of course, is a random Pokémon that the date and time calculates. TTEchidna 20:03, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
Unfortunately, your page appears to be protected, so I can't copy-paste the calendar's wikicode and adjust it on my page. --SharKing ((Talk to the King!)) 14:00, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
You can still hit the edit tab and view the code, even on protected pages. Just copy+paste it that way. (protection just means you can't change the coding on the protected page, nor save the page.) -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 15:32, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

insults

calling me a poop head is definately an insult no question about it.

But surely saying/threatening to throw pens at me isnt very nice. Its quite threatening, please remove it, or ask him to remove it. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Poliwhirl a Fighting type?

Well, is it? This guy keeps saying it's Water/Fighting but I don't really know... The article says it's just Water --DialgaRULES 01:08, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Poliwrath is Water/Fighting. Rest of the family is pure Water. TTEchidna 01:09, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Unown spritebox

OK, by now I guess you can see I love Pokémon with alternate forms (Formes in Unown's case? Not too sure, stupid half-legendary classification). Anyways, could you maybe do the spriteboxes like you did for Arceus? I know that we don't have most of the sprites (except maybe GenIV but I don'know if those are the right size). I believe that if we have at least a single complete (or nearly complete generation) we should go for the whole table. For the ! and ? ones in GenII, I made a template much like Template:Sprite/noappear: Template:Sprite/forme/noappear.--MisterE13 01:38, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps, perhaps. See if you can find Unown sprites in all forms though, since unlike Arceus... yeah. It's got 26 + 26 + 28 + 28 + 28 + 28 + 28 + 28 + 28 + 28 sprites. TTEchidna 01:44, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Do we have anyone who we can trust to get certain sprites (like the Castform ones). Someone we could give specific tasks to get certain sprites like the first sprite-ripper to TTE. Also, are the Diamond/Pearl ones under the current box okay or are they too small?--MisterE13 02:12, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
The ones that show all Unowns at once, are actually the RS ones. We never uploaded the DP ones. I'll talk to Zhen when and if I can get in contact with him... he knows where all the sprites are. TTEchidna 02:31, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Great, by the way, I think your math might be flawed: 26 (Gold) + 26 (Silver) + 26 (Crystal) + 28 (Ruby/Sapphire) + 28 (Emerald) + 28 (Diamond/Pearl) + 28 (Platinum).--MisterE13 02:41, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Ah right, G and S had different sprites. TTEchidna 02:43, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
However, last I checked, the third to Diamond/Pearl didn't give Unown new spritework. If it did get new spritework, then the upload summary for Image:201 s.png (yes, it is now possible to call up an alternate-coloration image starting with just the number; the known alternate-colorations in the anime were among the first to have this system implemented, no more fumbling around manually changing an image link for Ash's Noctowl every time Noctowl gets a new sprite) would have displayed either the code "AC-DPr" (new sprite created, but not available on Bulbapedia at the time the project got to it) or the code "AC-Pt" (new sprite created and available on Bulbapedia) between the slash and the pipe. The code listed in the edit summary for the image I linked to is "AC-DP" (no new sprite created).
****, TTE, it looks like I may have just provided you with a good source as to which Pokémon need redirects to complete the fourth-generation sprite tables. The ones marked "AC-DP" are the ones that should get the redirects; "AC-DPr" should not get the redirects (nor should "AC-Pt" for obvious reasons). --Shiningpikablu252 03:12, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Wait what? Dammit, why don't we just list off all 493... TTEchidna 03:16, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
All 493 have already been taken care of in this regard. I can go ahead and compile a code-by-code list...--Shiningpikablu252 03:23, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

OK, here's the list. Remember, AC-DP means one whose Pt sprite paths should redirect to the DP sprites, AC-DPr means one that should not redirect but whose alternate-coloration Pt sprite isn't available, and AC-Pt means one already with the most up-to-date sprite. As follows:

...oh jeez. Uhm... well, shall we make a project of this? TTEchidna 04:21, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, we probably should make a project out of making the redirects. After all, I basically broke my back (not literally, of course) uploading all of those images on the Archives primarily to relieve stress over on this side when new sprites come in. Bunch of redirects, shouldn't be too much of a problem, even with a huge list like that...--Shiningpikablu252 04:27, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Is it like that for more than just Gen IV? I don't see how many different poses they could put them in. If the Gold, Silver and Crystal or Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed, LeafGreen and Emerald ones are all the same, that could save us a lot of trouble.--MisterE13 21:13, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Translated name for a CD?

Well, I came here because I didn't know what to do. The page for the CD High Touch! / Surely Tomorrow has its title on English, well, but for other CDs articles the Japanese name are used. I moved it to Hai Tacchi! / Ashita wa Kitto but the redirect was undo. So... why? As I said in the respective talk page (in which no one answered me) we have Kaze no Message (CD), Pokémon Ieru Ka Neo? (Single), Roketto Dan yo Eien ni (CD), Pokémon Kakerukana (Album)... why this article has a translated name? --Nick., something to say? 03:33, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

CDs... eh, I say use the Japanese. TTEchidna 03:50, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

bullying

you and kenji aren helping him bully me, cos I disagreed with your political views and dont make 10,000 edits a day. There is no need of him having those insults up there, and i should be allowed to remove insults, and its not even like hes putting them back, its 2 admins putting insults about me on other pages, he hasnt tried to put em back oncwe. You are encouraging people to be mean to me, and you probably asked him on Aim to do all this stuff.

Please I just want to get on, tell him to take the comments off, and I promise you I will give my full effort to the mainspace, if you help get rid of these insults, I will be a pocket rocket of constructive edits, just please, there is no need for this verbal abuse by him, I dont want him banned, I just want it removed, that is fair, just and reasonable. Him being allowed to attack me helps the pedia in no way. Please, do the right thing, even if you dont like me, im still a person, with feelings, and comments like that might not upset you, but they upset me, i knoww im not a good contributor at the moment, but look into your heart, drop the trying to be tough facade, look into your heart, and you know that what hes doing and what your supporting is wrong, please just let me remove them. --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Liberal conspiracy omgz. You want insults, Guardian, I can come up with far worse. TTEchidna 20:04, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
And he can't revert you, Guardian, because he's on "hiatus".—BlazevoirTalk/Contribs 20:19, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Why not ignore the mild insults (and yes, I do believe they are mild at worst), and just start that pocket rocket mainspace spree right now? Instead of continuing to give Optimatum reasons to insult you. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 20:29, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Dont call me retardian! Your going to far with the bullying now. Cut it out.--Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Me? That wasn't me. That was BulbaBot. TTEchidna 20:53, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

We all know its you. Bots dont do things themselves, maybe in your precious little geeky star trek the comps malfunction, but they dont do stuff like that in the real world, listen to Kenji, the girl talks sense, no more drama with that bot!!! --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

You know Guardian, "your precious little geeky star trek" is a worse insult than what optimatum's done. Garrison12795 21:03, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

YEAH, WELL TTE'S REPROGRAMMING GOT Kuki BLOCKED!!--Gyarachu 21:05, 5 December 2008 (UTC) I thought Kuki got blocked for impersonating an admin? --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

I thought he got blocked, 'cause he was a freaking addict. Garrison12795 21:08, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

he got blocked for it, then unblocked, then blocked for impersonation of an admin --Guardian of Earth |SGMS 2010

Only an addict would impersonate an admin...Garrison12795 21:10, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Well he didn't! He was forced to LIE that he wrote the letter. I know because he told me. And his mom got him blocked for the addict one--Gyarachu 21:11, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I know his mom got him blocked. It (arguments over it) took up the whole freakin' recent changes back then. Garrison12795 21:13, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Seriously, somebody's have to burst this bubble. I understand that many of you think that this is only a mere joke, and that Guardian should gain more sense of humour. I also see these "insults" to be just a random funny thing. However, not everybody thinks like you do, and in this case, I must say that I'm on Guardian's side. If an user tells the other people that he doesn't like the way somebody has written about him, my opinion is that the user should be listened. It's a personal insult if the target thinks so, not only if the author thinks so. If Guardian says that the way Optimatum has written about him insults him, why do you gather on Optimatum's side? Do you support the bully at the school when he's beating a couple of years older student in the middle of the school yard? I hope you do not, and you should also not act that way in the Internet either. We all enjoy being here more if we could settle these insult wars in the way they should be dealt with. I'm terrified how passively the administrators are trying to help Guardian, as if they'd not want to have him here. In my opinion, an administrator should not try to make people leave the place, if they do, they shouldn't be the heads of the site in the first page. Being an administrator is an honorable position, but it also has its responsibilities.
Thanks if you read the whole message, and thank you, PAK Man, for being on the right side.UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 21:19, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Im glad to see someone has finally said something, I was begining to think all common decency had gone, its disgusting how this bullying has been allowed to survive and in some cases fanned by an admin, the fact that bullying like this can exist is shocking, where the authoritys arent willing to do anything, it lowers the standard of the pedia some what more than 1 user on the talk space too much. I think a little more support should be expected. C R E S T ☆

I don't know about other's, but I support Optimatum because of Freedom of Speech. Beating a kid in the schoolyard is not the proper anology here. The Dark Fiddler - Smarter than the average bear! 21:27, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
I've told Guardian a few times, the insults aren't bad enough to involve an admin over. I'm not about to go banning or reverting because someone called another user a "poopie head". In this case, none of the insults are really big insults, and as such, it's not an admin's job to deal with it. The correct way to deal with it is to ask Optimatum personally, which Guardian did. Optimatum decided not to remove the comment, which is his right. The situation really should have ended right there. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 21:34, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

That is an abuse, our ancestors would be appauled to see what they fought so hardly for (freedom of speach) used in this way to bully an individual, freedom of speach doesnt mean you can be horrible to someone, the laws of common decency take presidence, have some respect for people, just cos you dont like them, gives you know right to bully them, and it was the threat of freedom of speach being used in this way that prevented it from being implemented for so long. C R E S T ☆

Crest, you have a good point.

Not exactly related to this, but Kuki just told me over MSN that his female friend, Gyarachu, joined Bulbapedia. However, as soon as she noted how she doesn't like the way Kuki is treated, she was infinitely banned. Is it really prohibited to try to be one's friend? :/ UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 21:42, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
sigh...He wasn't insulting him, it's just that he took it as an insult. He wasn't bullying him, period. Optimatum isn't turning everyone on Guardian, but it's the opposite. Garrison12795 21:44, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
  • sigh, give you people an inch you take a yard, what about what the admin called him, which i shall not repeat. Freedom of speach is a brilliant thing, letting people have their own views, but when people take this right and abuse it so that it hurts another individual, it gives amunition to all those against freedom of speach. This isnt a mob, the foundation of society would be broken if everyone went around insulting one another. And I agree with Jirouji on one thing, it shouldnt have gone further than between Guardian and Optimatum, however the thing i do disagree on is even if some of you argue "ooh but Optimatum has the right" when asked like that, I would expect any decent human with a conscience to remove it.
