Yawn. Well, here it is, a new, clean slate. Again. Hopefully Project Overgrow's work will allow there to be a longer time between now and the next archive. Maybe long enough to get us to Phase III...?

Pictures

Rex, you are totally right! I can't access the archives and no pics have been showing up at all! And just another thing, earlier today, I tried to access JUST Bulbapeda and I couldn't, it said the website was encountering problems or something. What I brought up in the other archive

When I showed you that thing in my sandbox I didn't mean for it to stay there. It was just to show you the basic idea and maybe have it implemented to the main space. What do you think? Like a place to request sprites to be uploaded, renamed, maybe even modified slightly. One could ask for some of them to have a specific naming convention but not necessairily all of them.--MisterE13 13:35, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

I could come up with other examples, such as the bag sprite conventions you discussed in the other archive. A page like mine could let most people know that it's going on and could encourage participation. Also, say it wasn't already done and I wanted Poké Assist and Field Move sprites to be ripped from the Ranger games and uploaded but I cannot rip sprites. It lets someone who can, wants to help out and has free time know that it needs to be done. Also of note, Unown Trozei sprites, PMD2 alternate forme images, etc. All of these, and perhaps the ocasionnal template request could be requested on a page similar to th example I made in my sandbox--MisterE13 22:12, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Martonimos's section for whining

I have you on record as saying that "redirects are bad." Meanwhile, Cipher attributes you to saying that linking to a redirect doesn't matter. Since I'm a whiny zealot, I'd like some closure on this issue; basically, is this a bad idea? --((Marton imos)) 14:32, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Redirects are bad in many cases. For games, no. Pokémon FireRed Version will always redirect to Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions. The problem comes up when people decide "O HAY REDUREKTS R OK SO I LINK TO Jumpluff and Mewtwo and Pichu and Dawn and Ash and Brock and May. THOSE REDIRECT RITE?"

If I endorse redirects, that'll allow people to come and say "DONT YELL ABOUT ME LINKING TO MEWTWO WITHOUT THE TEMPLATE REDIRECTS ARE OKAY LET'S GET RID OF THE LINK TEMPLATES YAY".

Flashbacks

Flashback doesn't make you recurring. It counts as an appearance, yes, for the purposes of the episode's listing of characters, but doesn't count as a reappearance if a COTD appears in one. TTEchidna 21:42, 18 January 2009 (UTC)

Japanese Text Problem

Ever since I had to reboot my computer from the very beginning (it basically crashed), all Japanese text on the site looks like this: ポケモンコンテスト
