Acid Rain is a glitch in Pokémon Platinum that occurs when a player uses the move Pursuit in battle to knock out the opponent's Pokémon while Hail or Sandstorm is in effect. The Pokémon continue to receive damage from the weather effects, though the screen graphics indicate that rain is falling in their place.
