Sabrina's father

Sabrina's father is a character who appeared in several episodes of the Pokémon anime. His Japanese voice actor is unknown and his English voice actor is Maddie Blaustein. Due to the fact that he was never given a name, he is referred to as Sabrina's father.

In the Anime

Sabrina's father appeared in two episodes of the Pokémon anime. He first appeared in Abra & the Psychic Showdown. He recommended that Ash not battle Sabrina, the Saffron City gym leader. After Ash was defeated by her, her father returned and told Ash the only way to defeat Sabrina is by using a Ghost Pokémon.

He returned in Haunter versus Kadabra to save Ash from being turned into a doll by Sabrina. Her father told Ash that Sabrina was not always as mysterious and manipulating as she is now. Ash returned to the gym, and using his Haunter, he was able to defeat Sabrina and earn his Marsh Badge.

Although it is revealed that the man is Sabrina's father, Ash never figured out their relation. He believed that the man was a photographer, and that was how he knew so much about Sabrina.
