The Beginning
After you turn on the game,Professor Rowan comes on and asks if you need any information. If you do, select the info you want. If you don't, select no info needed. Then, Professor Rowan tells you to touch the ball to open a Pokéball. A Buneary pops out. After that, Professor Rowan asks you to select your gender and name.
- NOTE: You cannot change your gender nor name later on in the game so choose wisely.

Then you can choose the name of your rival.
