(Japanese: ダークライ Darkrai) is a Dark-type Legendary Pokémon of the Generation IV.

Darkrai is the first Dark-type legendary Pokémon. This is the first event legendary Pokémon, which can only be recieved durning a Pokémon event or a Nintendo event.

Name origin

Darkrai looks like a ghost. It has no feet and appears to have flowing parts of its body. Its body is purple with a long flowing white appendage on its head.
