éWhat idiot moved this page?! --File:Spr 3e 115.gifTheryguy512File:Spr 3e 202.gifFile:Spr 3e 327.gif 19:57, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Pokémon Lover King Mario did. Apparently, he's been known to make page moves that consensus agrees should not be made, and this isn't the first time he's done such.
He did that before with Pokémon Trainer after a trainer was announced as a Super Smash Bros. Brawl character, then turned the redirect to a disambig. Problems ensued when trying to restore the page when the consensus agreed to not have the disambig; sysops eventually stepped in and set everything right. --Shiningpikablu252 01:19, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Ummm... What's the proof this is a different Mew then the one in Mewtwo Strikes Back? Noname

Different voice. And yes, this is not because the MSB Mew's VA was unavailable. He voiced Sir Aaron! TTEchidna 18:31, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Um, what does that matter? Ash sounds different nowadays, but does this mean he's a different person? No. Noname

Mew and Mewtwo were together at the end of Mewtwo Strikes Back, so it's unlikely that the same Mew would appear in this movie without Mewtwo. Diachronos 16:59, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

That's true. But, at the end of the first movie, Mew is seen flying back to mountainous island. The tree in the 8th movie was a mountain, wasn't it? How do we know if the island that the Mew from the 1st movie went back to isn't the island that the Mew in the 8th movie was seen at? --いぬみみ 21:28, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

I would argue that it's a prevelant theme in Pokémon (althoigh it's sketchy in the anime) that the Über Legendaries such as Mew, Celebi, and Jirachi are one of a kind. With Pokémon like Entei, however, it is implied that there are multiple. LordArceus

I agree with you. I know this is weird but when i think of ūber pokemon like mew and celebi, i think of them being a single pokemon of that species. one mew, one celebi, one jirachi, one shaymin, and of course, one arceus. but for some reason, i think of the mew from the 2 movies being different mew. but i also have this idea in the back of my mind about the mountain island the 1st movie went back to at the end of the movie is the same mountain island as the tree of origin is located on. I normally refer to a legendaries like articuno as 1 pokemon despite the fact that i know there is more than one like i call articuno a "he" as in there is only one and it's a he even though i know there are at least 2 articuno around the pokémon world. --いぬみみ 20:48, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

@ LordArceus- How is it implied that there are more than one Entei? The Entei in Spell of the Unown was clearly fake, and illusion, and in any case, the anime says that Ho-oh created the legendary beasts from three nameless Pokémon that died in the Burnt Tower. Which implies that there is only one. Kiryu 01:54, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
Considering how Suicune was labeled to be a species by Professor Oak (thus implying that there's more than one), and Suicune in the Anime is probably not the same one in 4EVER, and it's debatable as to whether the Suicune in Johto is the same one as the one in Sinnoh, I think it's safe to assume that Entei and Raikou probably are multiples as well. - unsigned comment from Weedle Mchairybug (talkcontribs)

Gender

I don't think Mew's gender should be "none" since it's unknown if genderless Pokemon apply in the anime, and therefore, not 100% confirmed. In fact i think it's very unlikely that it's genderless since there was a female (mother) Lugia in the series, so it should be "Unknown" (GT4GTR 11:17, 16 June 2008 (UTC))

I know it doesn't count as fact, but all signs point to Mew being female if anything. LordArceus

Mew from Mewtwo Strikes Back

How do we know that this Mew isn't the same Mew from the first movie? --Kid Sonic 05:44, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Why would it be? And these completely sifferent movies that take place in differnent places.--Coolピカチュウ! 05:48, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
Actually, this movie took place near Kanto, so it is possible. But we aren't sure, so let's leave it alone.--Starlight_the_ampharos 02:09, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
