Why does Pokémon Emerald reference it as the 'Gangster of the Sea' if, as every older fan knows, Tentacreul was also deemed the 'Gangster of the Sea' a long time ago in the pokédex and in the episode Tentacool and Tentacreul? Is Sharpedo more mischevious or more feared now? (I predict a challenge.) -Professor DJM

Or maybe that Tentacruel are more scarce in the Hoenn region, making Sharpedo a bigger problem.--Pokencyclopedia 15:17, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Name

...Sharpedo. Best results breeding with Level 10 and under. >> I couldn't help but notice that. Yeah, I know Sharpedo is reffering to 'torpedo' instead of what I'm saying, but it's still kinda funny. Tina δ 19:24, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

sharpedo=game shark?!

i got a game shark once. it was already broken. anyway it came with a "shark light". i looked very closely and i noticed it was sharpedo! witch came first?Whatswithalltheextraspace 19:23, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

I highly doubt a resembelance between Sharpedo and the Gameshark logo is intentional, but the Gameshark came first. The Gameshark was available when Generation I was released, and since Sharpedo is a Generation III Pokémon, it's obvious the Gameshark was first. --Shiningpikablu252 19:32, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
