Aya Endō
Aya Endō (Japanese: 遠藤綾 Endō Aya) is a Japanese voice actress for the Pokémon anime.
Biography
Endō was born on February 17, 1980, in Yamagata Prefecture, Japan, and became a voice actress and singer as an adult. She began her work in the Pokémon anime during Pokémon the Series: Diamond and Pearl, where she voiced Veilstone Gym Leader Maylene and character of the day Sally. However, her most prominent role was Alexa in Pokémon the Series: Black & White and Pokémon the Series: XY. She also voiced Sinnoh Champion Cynthia for the spin-off series Pokémon Generations. Endō is currently affiliated with the talent agency Office PAC and won both Best Musical Performance and Best Supporting Actress during the 2nd Seiyu Awards of 2008 and the 3rd Seiyu Awards of 2009, respectively.
