Mega Punch is a move in the Pokémon games that Machamp can learn via TM01 in Generation I or via Move Tutor in Generation III. Fling is a move later introduced in the Generation IV Pokémon games that Machamp can learn via TM56; however, the Japanese names are not the same, making this attack and the move unrelated.
