Release information

This card was released as a Cosmos Holofoil SVP Black Star Promo and was available in the Scarlet & Violet Three Pack Blisters from March 31, 2023. In Japan, it was one of eight SV-P Promotional cards available in Let's Start Playing Pokémon Card Game Campaign Promo Card Packs, which were given to customers who purchased at least 10 packs of Scarlet ex or Violet ex at select retailers starting January 20, 2023.[1] It was also one of the four possible cards available in ex Starter Set Quaxly & Mimikyu ex Promo Card Packs. The Japanese print is Mirror Holofoil.

Initial prints of this card used Smooth Cosmos Holofoil paper. Prints available in subsequent production runs of the Scarlet & Violet Three Pack Blisters, released in mid-2024, used the Pixel Cosmos Holofoil paper that was reintroduced in the first year of the Scarlet & Violet Series. In Japan, this card was reprinted as a Non Holofoil in the Venusaur & Charizard & Blastoise Special Deck Set ex.
