This card was included in the EX Power Keepers expansion. An exclusive Holofoil print of this card was included in the Mind Game Theme Deck. It was later included in the Japanese World Champions Pack.

Dark Mind's Japanese name is that of Night Shade, a move in the Pokémon games that Dusclops can learn. Mysterious Light's effect references the fact that Phoebe has a Dusclops on her team in Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald.
