Release information

This card was included in the Plasma Freeze expansion with artwork by Shigenori Negishi, first released in the Japanese Spiral Force expansion. It was reprinted in the Plasma Blast expansion, first released in the Japanese Megalo Cannon expansion, with different artwork by 5ban Graphics as an Ultra-Rare Secret card.

In Japan, the Plasma Freeze print was reprinted in the Extra Regulation Box and as a S-P Promotional card. The promotional print was one of ten cards available in Extra Battle Day Promo Card Packs, which were distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues hosting Extra Battle Day tournaments from December 16, 2022. One pack was given to each participant that won a game, while three packs were given to the overall winner of a tournament. One pack was also given to winners of rock paper scissors competitions.[1] The promotional print also features the Extra Battle Day logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.
