This card was released as a Cosmos Holofoil SWSH Black Star Promo and was available in the Brilliant Stars Single Pack Blisters from February 25, 2022. In Japan, it was released as a Line Holofoil S-P Promotional card and was available as an insert in the September 2021 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban!, released on July 21, 2021. The Japanese print features the CoroCoro Ichiban! logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork.
