Release information
This card was included in the Scarlet & Violet expansion with artwork by GOSSAN, first released in the Japanese Scarlet ex expansion. In Japan, it was reprinted as a Mirror Holofoil SV-P Promotional card and was distributed as part of a First Entry Campaign. Between January 20 and 31, 2023, participating Pokémon Card Gym venues held a stamp rally that incorporated Gym Battle, New Release Battle, Deck As Is Battle, and Extra Battle Day events. People that participated in any of these events for the first time during the campaign were given a stamp card; those that presented the card in a subsequent eligible event would get it stamped. Those that earned at least one stamp were given an exclusive coin; those earning at least two stamps were given a copy of the promotional print.[1]
An SVP Black Star Promotional print of this card was one of the Prerelease promos for Scarlet & Violet with new artwork by Yuya Oka, available in the Scarlet & Violet Build & Battle Box. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing Prerelease Tournaments. In Japan, this print was released alongside a new print with artwork by Souichirou Gunjima featuring the Shiny version of Hawlucha as part of the Shiny Treasure ex subset. This Shiny print was subsequently included in the special Paldean Fates expansion.
