Hoopa (Japanese: フーパEX HoopaEX) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon-EX card. It was first released as part of the Ancient Origins expansion.

When you play this Pokémon from your hand onto your Bench, you may search your deck for up to 3 Pokémon-EX (except for Hoopa-EX), reveal them, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterward.

Discard 2 Energy attached to this Pokémon. This attack does 100 damage to 1 of your opponent's Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Release information
This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Ancient Origins expansion, first released in the Japanese Bandit Ring expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Ryota Murayama, while the Full Art print features artwork by 5ban Graphics. It was reprinted with new artwork by Eske Yoshinob as one of the XY Black Star Promos available in the Powers Beyond Tins starting October 7, 2015. The Regular print was reprinted in the Japanese Premium Champion Pack as a Mirror Reverse Holofoil. The XY Promotional print was later included in the Japanese Mythical & Legendary Dream Shine Collection.
The Ancient Origins Regular print was reprinted in the Japanese The Best of XY subset. The Ancient Origins Regular print, alongside a Jumbo version, was included in the Hoopa-EX Challenge Box. The Ancient Origins Regular print was reprinted as a Non Holofoil in the Japanese Extra Regulation Box released on October 4, 2019.

This card features Hoopa Unbound. Scoundrel Ring's Japanese name, Bandit Ring, is the name of the Japanese expansion in which Hoopa-EX was first released. Hyperspace Fury is a move in the Pokémon games that Hoopa can learn.
