Kyogre ex (Japanese: カイオーガex Kyogre ex) is a Water-type Basic Pokémon-ex card. It is one of the Nintendo Black Star Promos.

Card text

When Pokémon-ex has been Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

Frenzy ぎゃくじょう

As long as your opponent has Groudon, Groudon ex, Rayquaza, or Rayquaza ex in play, Kyogre ex's attacks do 40 more damage to the Defending Pokémon (before applying Weakness and Resistance).

Aqua Supply アクアサプライ 30

You may attach a basic Energy card from your hand to 1 of your Pokémon.

Tsunami つなみ 40

Does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.)

Release information

This card was released as one of the English Nintendo Black Star Promos, first released as one of the Japanese PLAY Promotional cards. The English print was included in the EX Collector's Tins, released on October 1, 2006. In Japan, it was included in the Limited Edition Starter Kit, which could only be obtained by those in the Pokémon Player's Club.
