Release information
This card was available as a Wizards Black Star Promo and was given away to visitors at participating stores from December 16, 2000 to promote the release of Neo Genesis. In Japan, it was available as an Unnumbered Promotional card on an insert in the July 1999 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on June 15, 1999. The Japanese print uses the Original Series layout, whereas the English print uses the Neo Series layout. The English print has missing before the first occurrence of "Energy" in the attack effect. The attack cost is also off-center. The card was reprinted in the Japanese Pokémon Web expansion using the e-Card Series layout.
