This card was released as one of the English SM Black Star Promos, available in the Mimikyu Pin Collection released April 7, 2017. In Japan, this card was made available in the Toys "R" Us Limited GX Starter Set, released on December 9, 2016. It was reprinted as another Japanese SM-P Promotional card with a different collection number and was 1 of 5 cards available in special packs of Daiichi Choco & Custard Pan and Daiichi Bacon & Potato Pan from December 1, 2018. This version has the Daiichi Pan Pokémon Pan logo on the bottom right corner of the artwork.
