Release information
This card was included in the Paldea Evolved expansion with artwork by Kagemaru Himeno, first released in the Japanese Snow Hazard expansion. A version of this card, featuring a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork, was available in Trick or Trade 2023 BOOster Bundles from September 1, 2023.
In Japan, this card was reprinted alongside a new Shiny rare print featuring artwork by Nelnal and a Full Art illustration rare print with artwork by Mitsuhiro Arita featuring the Shiny version of Mimikyu in the Shiny Treasure ex subset. The Regular print and the Shiny rare print were included in the Paldean Fates expansion. The illustration rare print was made available as a SVP promotional card in the English Paldean Fates Elite Trainer Box, released on January 26, 2024. A second version with the Pokémon Center logo above the Retreat Cost was available in the Paldean Fates Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box.
The Regular print was reprinted again as a Non Holofoil in Japan as one of seven SV-P Promotional cards available in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 6, which was distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues able to do so from April 26, 2024.[1] This print features the Pokémon Card Gym logo. Another Non Holofoil Regular reprint is included in the Japanese Stellar Tera Type Starter Set Sylveon ex. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the Paldean Fates Regular print, featuring a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork, was available in Trick or Trade 2024 BOOster Bundles from August 30, 2024.
