Release information

This card was included in the Diamond & Pearl expansion with artwork by Nakaoka, first released in the Japanese Space-Time Creation expansion. It was reprinted with different artwork by Daisuke Ito as one of the DP-P Promotional cards in Japan, available through a McDonald's promotion in May 2007. This print was never released in English. It was reprinted again with different artwork by Nakaoka in the Japanese Palkia LV.X Constructed Standard Deck as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card. The Great Encounters expansion included the Non Holofoil print, while the Holofoil print was released in the Infinite Space Theme Deck. The card was printed yet again as one of the DP Black Star Promos with another different artwork by Daisuke Ito. It was released in the Palkia Premium Box in August 2008 as both a regular and Jumbo card. The regular print features Cosmos Holofoil while the Jumbo sized print features either Mirror Holofoil or Cracked Ice Holofoil. The Japanese version was released through a Meiji Chocolate promotion in July 2007. The DP Black Star Promo print was later reprinted in the Platinum Series Collection.

Trivia

The Great Encounters print erroneously credits Daisuke Ito as the illustrator, who illustrated the Japanese-exclusive DP-P Promotional card print. The correct illustrator is Nakaoka.

Origin
