Release information
This card was included in the Obsidian Flames expansion with artwork by Shin Nagasawa, first released in the Japanese Ruler of the Black Flame expansion. It was reprinted, alongside a new Shiny rare print with artwork by Hitoshi Ariga, in the Shiny Treasure ex subset. The Shiny rare print was included in the Paldean Fates expansion.

Origin
Agility and Cut are both moves in the Pokémon games that Scyther can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet. The Paldean Pokémon League building is featured in the Obsidian Flames print's illustration.
