Shaymin (Japanese: シェイミ Shaymin) is a Grass-type Level-Up Pokémon LV.X card. It is part of the Platinum expansion.

Card text

Thankfulness かんしゃのきもち

Each of your Pokémon (excluding any Shaymin) gets +40 HP. You can't use more than 1 Thankfulness Poké-Body each turn.

Seed Flare シードフレア 40+

Choose as many Energy cards from your hand as you like and attach them to your Pokémon in any way you like. If you do, this attack does 40 damage plus 20 more damage for each Energy attached in this way.

Put this card onto your Active Shaymin. Shaymin LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous Level.

Release information

This card was originally included in the previous set, Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky but was delayed, along with other related cards, due to Shaymin's inclusion in Giratina and the Sky Warrior.

Trivia

This card later received an erratum to change the Seed Flare attack by adding the word "card" after the second . This tweaks the effect to count cards as opposed to Energy.
