Shiny ultra rare card (TCG)
Shiny ultra rare is a type of rarity in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, introduced in the Paldean Fates expansion. Shiny ultra rare cards are a variant of Ultra rare cards that showcase chase Pokémon in their shiny forms. Shiny ultra rare card are Full Art Secret cards and can be identified through having two hollowed out gold stars (
) as their rarity symbol. Before the introduction of the shiny ultra rare rarity, it was referred to as "Rare Shiny GX" in the Hidden Fates expansion and "Shiny Rare V or VMAX" in the Shining Fates expansion, in both of these expansions this rarity was denoted with the (
) rarity symbol.
The Asian equivalent this rarity is the shiny super rare rarity denoted by the (
) rarity symbol, these cards are limited to being found in select High Class expansion sets.
