Trivia

  • This card is extremely similar to another Slowpoke card released later in the Generations expansion, with the only significant playability difference being the effect of Scavenge. Due to the split of Trainer cards only taking effect for cards starting with the release of Diamond & Pearl, this Slowpoke is still able to retrieve Supporter cards and Stadium cards from the discard pile, while Generations Slowpoke can only retrieve Item cards.
  • The illustrator's name, Miki Tanaka, was misspelled as "Miki Takano" on the Fossil print.

Origin

This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
