Release information

This card was included as both a Regular card and a Full Art card in the Celestial Storm expansion, first released in the Japanese Sky-Splitting Charisma expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Megumi Mizutani, while the Full Art print features artwork by Hideki Ishikawa. A Mirror Holofoil SM-P Promotional version of the Regular print was awarded to winners of events held at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues across Japan, which featured different formats each month. This print was available at events using the November format, the GX Ultra Shiny Battle, which required at least 3 Pokémon-GX cards to be included in a Standard-regulation deck, as well as the December format, another New Battle, which required at least 1 TAG TEAM Pokémon-GX card or at least 4 Pokémon from the Tag Bolt expansion to be included in a Standard-regulation deck. All participating Pokémon Card Gym venues held the GX Ultra Shiny Battle events from November 2 until December 6, 2018. December format New Battle events were held from December 7, 2018 until January 10, 2019. The Regular print of Tate & Liza was later reprinted in the Japanese Tag Team GX Premium Trainer Box. A new print with different artwork by You Iribi was included in the Battle Arena Deck—Rayquaza-GX as a Yellow A Alternate card. This print originated from the Japanese GG End subset.
