Release information
This card was included in the Obsidian Flames expansion, first released in the Japanese Ruler of the Black Flame expansion. A Parallel Holofoil version of this card featuring either a "GameStop" or "EB Games" stamp was given away to customers spending at least $15 on Pokémon TCG products at GameStop stores in the United States and Canada, or EB Games stores in Australia and New Zealand from August 11, 2023.[1] A Parallel Holofoil version with an "Obsidian Flames" stamp was first available in Switzerland from September 7, 2023. Customers at Card Maniac would receive a copy of this variant or a promotional variant of Tinkaton with any Pokémon TCG purchase worth at least CHF 20.[2] This variant was also made available in Belgium and the Netherlands from October 30, 2023 and was given away with Pokémon TCG purchases worth at least €25 from participating ToyChamp stores.[3][4] A version of this card, featuring a Pikachu jack-o'-lantern stamp in the bottom right corner of the artwork, was available in Trick or Trade 2024 BOOster Bundles from August 30, 2024.
