Scuz (Japanese: ガリ Ghali) is a character of the day in Viva Las Lapras. He is a pirate who serves as Captain Crook's first mate. He is voiced by Maddie Blaustein in English and 伊藤健太郎 Kentarō Ito in Japanese.

Scuz respects his captain greatly and does whatever he tells him to do, despite being shot out of a cannon himself after running out of ammunition. One of his jobs is to fire the cannons, which are either loaded with cannonballs in order to slow down or stop anyone who tries to mess with them, or Poké Balls, containing the captain's Tentacruel.

Once Misty got on board their ship, she tied up Scuz along with his captain and waited for Officer Jenny to arrest them.
