Ash's Roggenrola (Japanese: サトシのダンゴロ Satoshi's Dangoro) is the eighth Pokémon that Ash obtained in the Unova region.

History

Roggenrola first appeared when it literally crashed into Cilan's food in distress. Ash battles it, but it manages to knock out both Oshawott and Tepig. It later meets Ash again when they come to investigate a tunnel, where they find Team Rocket harvesting wild Roggenrola for their cannon. It too is collected, and Ash manages to save it, but not before Team Rocket cause a cave in with a powerful Luster Cannon created by all the Roggenrola they collected. After they escape the tunnel, they find Team Rocket in a warehouse where Ash and Roggenrola manage to free the other Roggenrola. Reunited, they send Team Rocket blasting off with a combined Luster Cannon. After cured at the Pokémon Center, Roggenrolla challenges Ash to a rematch, where it is then defeated by Tepig and captured.
